Okay for the money

Advantages: Performs well, Value for money
Disadvantages: Difficult to use, Quality, Durability
"I bought the RedHead Hearing Enhancer to see if amplification would help my lousy hearing in normal surroundings. Here's what I found; a hearing aid will help me and the RedHead HE would probably help you to hear sounds outdoors that you may not normally hear. It is cheaply made, but works well enough. The batteries are good for about 8 to 12 hours of continuous use. It's not an elegant device and is very noticeable sticking out of your ear. It works, but is truly a low-end device."

Great Buy!!!!!!!!!

Advantages: Ease of use, Durability, Performs well, Value for money, Quality, cheaper then a hearing aid.
Disadvantages: one more size ear piece
"First off. I bought this because I have a hearing problem with my right ear. So I was looking around Bass Pro Shops and found this one for under $20.00. This thing works great. I'm hearing things I haven't heard since I was a kid (yes my wife too). The only problem is I wish they had put one more size ear piece. The one I am using is a little tight but with use it fits good. For the money you can't beat this. It does what it says it does. It a great buy and worth every penney. No it's not a hearing aid and for the price they get for one I'll use this. If you get one of these and your hunting you well be shocked on what you can hear. If you have trouble keeping the hearing from falling off your ear. I used a little piece of velcro on the back side of the unit and a small piece on my glasses and it works great."

"I bought this hearing enhancer to help me hear in the woods deer hunting. After my brain started to filter out the road noise, the enhancers did a really good job! I would not recomend if your going to be walking. I could not keep them in while walking.. But for sitting they worked really well."

adequate for my use

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money, limited usage
Disadvantages: Quality, Durability, hard to keep on
"It is not the best fitting enhancer on the market. But sitting in a blind or treestand, where you are not doing much moving around...it's "OK". The sound enhancing quality however is very good. Use for bowhunting because it does not dampen the sound of a gun shot...which it clearly states it doesn't do.
I would recommend it for use in blinds and treestands...or just sitting on your porch listening to the birds !!

A good purchase

"The product done a good job picking up the sound , but the ear piece needs improvement I had trouble keeping it in my ear and when I got it to stay put it started making my ear sore. I tried all the different sizes that were sent with the kit. If that problem gets corrected it will be a great product at a reasonable price. Thankyou for letting me voice my thoughts."
