Tree Step or Bow Hang?

"I bought 4 of these for my small, one man bow stands. These are a great help to me as I use them as bow hangs. They are very strong and also durable. I trust this product to hold up my Z7 anyday. (If you plan on screwing one of these into a tree, make sure you do it before you go hunting, it becomes a pain early in the morning in low/no light conditions.)"

"I use a lot of lock-on stands to bowhunt out of and screw in steps are the only option for me. There are easier ways to get up a tree like the strap on ladder sections but unless your rich or don't put up many stands they are just to pricey. Ameristep steps have always worked for me with no problems. A word of advice though: remove them after the season is over. I had a friend who had one break but he had left it in this tree for four years! I take mine out after the season closes and paint them every other year."
