"Put one on each corner of my little 16 ft aluminum bass boat so you can fishout of either side of the boat.They are very strong and i like the fact that they are adjustable side to side."

"Aluminim base does strip out and the wingnut is hard to tighten enough to secure the holder from spinning. Replaced the wingnut with a stainless nut and a washer. Just need to carry a 9/16" wrench."
