A longtime favorite for many anglers, Gamakatsu hooks offer superior strength and durability, due to high-carbon steel construction and a unique tempering process. This ultra-sharp hook assortment includes the standard EWG worm hook in 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0 sizes, plus the Superline EWG in 3/0 and 4/0 (ideal for braided lines). Kit includes a total of 25 hooks, in two colors and five sizes.

"Not using top quality hooks is like buying retreads for you car. The good stuff is necessary and doesn't cost that much more than the also rans.
Gamakatsu EWG WideGap Hooks are excellent. For fishing with mono the standard hook is a very strong choice. If you are fishing with braid their Superline hooks are top notch.
Gamakatsu and Owners are the only hooks I ever use."

Advantages: Performs well, Quality
"Some people say a hook is a hook. I tell them to compare a rusty old dull hook to these. They go through the fishes lip like butter, and I have only bent one on a submerged tree. A hook is not a hook, unless it is a Gamakatsu."

"I simply love Gamakatsu hooks due to how sharp they are so when I started to stock up on worm tackle this kit was a no brainer. I love the ewg shape, so easy to texas rig with these due to that shape."

"These are the best hooks out there. The kit really is nice as you get the essentiall sizes in one package. I am not sure about the red hooks offering any advantage, but it is nice to have some variety of sizes that this kit offers."

"Gamakatsu is renowned for their sharp points. But this kit gives you a great bang for the buck--great sizes and colors you need.
But the best aspect of the EWG Worm hook design is the bend near the eye. This shape is enough to keep the bait on the hook but it's not a sharp bend so it doesn't catch on the weeds like other similar hooks. This is the hook to buy for the best weedless presentation."
