Advantages: Design, Durability
Disadvantages: no mounting screws supplied, only 3 inch long wire leads
"Liked the fact that the light housing was black, since it was replacing a chrome model on the bow of my duck boat.
Unit is built sturdy enough, but could of used longer wire leads for electrical hook-up.
And....for the price that they charge for their unit, you'd think that they could at least supply the (3) #8 or #10 mounting screws required for mounting."
