"Tried these out today and wow ! Excellent quality and value.. Just the right texture and size to put on a quarter oz. jighead.. Caught several Spotted Seatrout and other species on the New Penny pattern.. Only used one for the whole morning trip so they do hold up well.. Highly recommend these for your inshore fishing !!"

"These soft plastic shrimp are great when rigged with a 1/4oz jig head and worked on sand bars and grass flats for trout and reds. I have caught plenty of good size "specs" on these shrimp in the new penny color. They are very durable and can take several hits from lady fish and or trout before you have to use a new one. Plus you get 20 of them for 3 dollars and change!"

Deadly on Snook

"I have used these for as long as I have remebered fishing for Snook on a .25 ounce Cotte jighead. A company used to make a larger version of these that i used alot but I havent seen one in years. Double popping these off the bottom works very well on beaches, sandbars, ledges, potholes, bridges for most of the gamefish he in SW FL. I cought the biggest snook of my life 43 inches 28lbs on a hot pink colored one of these under a lighted dock on a full moon at night. These are my go to lure during Snook season. Most of the areas I fish at night for Snook I will only bring two rods with me, a net, and a couple different colors of each lure. One medium action spinning rod rigged with a quarter ounce scamper jig, and a heavy spnning rod rigged with a Bomber Long A and I usually come home with a keeper when I watch the tides. I really like how many of these come in a bag becuase once I find out what color they are hitting I will use alot of these and still have some leftover for the next trip."

Scamper Shrimp

from Cedar Key, Florida Keys
Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Value for money, Quality, fishes well under floats
Disadvantages: none it's fantastic for trout
"When saltwater fishing the flats of Cedar Key in 3 - 12' of water I use the whie/pink scamper shrimp with a 1/4oz 3/0 red jighead. It's a deadly combination for spotted and sand seatrout. When fishing deeper water, I just cast it out and bump it back. When fishing water 4 - 8', I fish it under a clacking 2 1/4 oval float. The shrimp has sufficient strength to last multiple fish."

"Offshore Angler Scamper Shrimp. Are the most consistant artificial baits I've ever used. I've caught speckled trout, redfish, snook and pompano using them. Scamper Shrimp are my go-to baits on the flats in Central Florida"

made the day

"While cod fishing southeast of Block Island the bite was very slow. I started pulling out all the tricks to put a few fish in the boat still not much action. I had some good marks so I knew the fish were there they were just not chewing. I even waited for the tide to turn hoping it would turn on, still nothing. As you cod fisherman know they just will not bite sometimes. I found a few of these red shrimp tails stuck in the bottom of my jig bin. I had most of the charter fishing clams with the usual high/low rig and a few with the jigs I decided to put one of those old salty dog looking shrimp on the high hook with a little clam of one of the customers and as soon as he hit the bottom "fish on" at first I thought the fish were just starting to bite although soon after he dropped down again another cod on the high hook with the shrimp teaser. A short experiment by not putting the shrimp on any of the other rods proved that they liked that shrimp teaser on the high hook. Good thing I found a few more shrimp and set everyone else up. It saved the day for me and maybe even helped my tip."
