Strong and simple

"These are very strong, I've only ever had one break and that was only because I had snagged my bait and was straining to either have it break free of the snag or snap my 50lb braid...the snap bent and I lost my lure. But that is an EXTREME case. I highly recommend these regardess

I'm not old, i dont have arthritis and my eyesight isnt failing yet but I am lazy and sometimes inpatient. Who wants to keep retying crankbaits or even jigheads every time you wanna try something new? I just tie on a snap to my line and easily change what I want when I want. These things are great!

i only gave it 4 stars because the paint comes off really easily, like just the act of putting a crankbait on can take off the paint. I liked it in red but next time I'll just buy the nickel finish"

"Good design, easy to use and stays locked but the finish comes off very,very quickly. I think next time I will just buy the black ones, they seem to keep their color much better.
I bought these just to try out the red color, but it comes off way too fast and you are left with a silver finish."

"As a long time (37 years) float tube fisherman who hits the water about 10 times a month all year long, it has become obvious that it's difficult for me to carry more than 2 rods at a time. "I used these for connecting crappie jigs to fluorocarbon line in Canada. Worked great! No failures of clips although line itself failed on cast. Switched over to 6 lb fluorocarbon from 2 lb mono after that. Hooked 3 lb bass and it held up well."

"The fast lock snaps greatly speed up the attachment of crankbaits for me as the thumb on my right hand has been shortened somewhat due to a run in with a router bit on my router table some years ago that makes tying knots a much slower process than using the snaps and doesn't change the action of the lures at all as far as I can see."
