"We fish Lake of the Woods. We also make our own spinner baits and Always use a black super chunk on the trailer hook. We feel it increase our catch ratio. We have caught crappie, bass, northern pike, walleye, and muskie. They seem to be attracted to the wiggle motion of the trailer. Many times we have to replace the super chunck because the tail is missing. The fish seem to bite at that the most. Black works best but we have use pumpkin seed and blue early in the season."

"These make awesome jig trailers. I use them on all my jigs. Great variety of colors enable me to match my jigs with the trailer perfectly. I love their presentation when you swim them with a jig. Looks just like a sunfish. They hold up to rough fishing techniques which saves me having to put another one on every so often."

A chunk for chunkn' jigs

"Here is another Zoom product that ranks high among its peers. I like the 4" size in black-blue with Booyah's A-Jig to present a mouthful no 5 lb. Bass is going to pass by. For a more finesse approach, the 3" makes a good partner to Booyah's Baby-Boo.
Both sizes give good balance to your jig, come in all the favorite colors, are pretty durable, and offer realistic action. If you fish mostly heavy cover and don't like repositioning the trailer every cast, instead of threading the hook along the length of the "tab", just hang the chunk on the end of the hook.
If you want even more claw action, try Netbait's paca chunks. They look like miniature "bats" with "wings" that flap on the drop."

"Really like these Zoom Super Chunks, I fish them as jig trailers and I use them as trailers on my chatterbait.
Just take a pair of scissors and split the legs about about 3/4 of a inch up from the tip and they immulate a crawfish pincher real well.
Great trailer at a great price and I can usually catch four or five fish off each one before I need to replace it.
Here's a picture of some bass I caugth using the super chunk on a 3/8 oz XPS Tungsten Jog."
