"These were recommended by my son. He bought a pair three or four years ago, and was ordering another pair, he was still wearing them but they were getting in bad shape he said. I ordered a pair and liked them so much, within a week I orderd another pair. I might add he lives in North Carolina and I am in Illinois. So we don't see a lot of one another. Anyhow I have had the shoes for about 6 months now and love them."

Best Boating Shoes Ever,October 14, 2009

"After reading the reviews, I decided to buy a couple pairs. Was not dissapointed!! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wear these out on the boat fishing for 8 hours and it's like they are not even there. They stick to the deck like glue, even when wet, extremely good feature considering I'm on the ocean 2-3 times a week during the summer. The second pair I wear to work almost every day. The only complaint I have is that the grommet eyes for the laces are not saltwater proof and rusted pretty fast after the first couple trips. As all the others say, you will either buy two right off, or end up buying another pair soon after using the first!
I'm waiting for the next sale to buy another two pairs."

"I usually do not contribute reviews but this time I have too. I just bought my second pair of these after 2 years with the first pair. Shoes are already very subjective in nature and rarely do i find a pair that fit this well. I will agree with all the other reviews, specifically that these are easily the most comfortable shoes I have had. You truly forget you have them on sometimes and just keep on walking around with them on even after coming home. I wear them 9-12 hours 5-6 days of the week. You can buy cheaper and more expensive but for value, comfort and durability, these are the best in my book."

"With a broken back due to a team roping accident years ago and a lifetime in the Hunting and Fishing Business, what I put on my feet is Extremely Important. These shoes are far more comfortable than anything I've ever worn. I don't find myself kicking them off at the back door when I come in like I always do my boots, etc. You forget you have them on. The ultra soft footbed is like "walking on air". I was buying a pair of deck shoes to wear in the boat when one of the salesmen from the fishing department saw the shoe box that I was carrying and suggested that I try these Bill Dance Rugged Sharks before purchasing the Sperry Deck Shoes. Boy, am I glad that I listened to him. If you want something comfortable to wear fishing, light duty hunting or just everyday, you can't beat these shoes."
