"I bought them last year while they were on sale for about $50. Now i wish i would have spent the extra 20 on somthing better. Ive been through 4 pair of laces already! I have not had the felt sole fall off yet but im sure that is about to happen.
I think they should recall this product and let people trade in their boots for a better pair!!!
The eyelets for the laces are way too sharp and dont allow you to get these boots tight. The eyelets are lined with sharp plastic and i am not sure why they did this. Might have been better off lining them with pieces of metal."

Don't Buy these Boots,March 24, 2009

"Very poor quality. In the store they look and feel great. However after a few uses on the river the laces break (I think that the eyes on the lacing holes are too sharp) and the felt soles begin to peel. I intend on buying new boots instead of trying to repair these. Even Hodgmans are better quality and will last longer. I would say you get what you pay for but... $70 is still a lot of money for something that you will have to repair or replace by the end of the season."

"Within the first couple of fishing trips the felt started peeling off the bottom of the boots. On approximately the 4th trip the laces broke. I have now owned them for less than 8 months and the felt has worn off the bottoms and both laces are broken. Do not buy these unless you expect to buy 2 pair a year and expect to need multiple sets of laces and replacement felt. Very poor product."
