"I got this about 1 year ago and I've gotten my moneys worth. I bring anywhere where I need a little light! Perfect for wiring a TV or a PC. I would recommend putting Duct Tape around the end encase you need to put it in your mouth for any reason."

"I'm sure there are brighter flashlights out there, but I'd be willing to bet there's not a TOUGHER one available. I have a 4-cell and a 6-cell. I have the MagLite LED upgrade bulb for the 4-cell and it's as bright as you could ask for. No telling how many times these light have been dropped while they were ON and just kept right on burning. You can't beat these lights for the money you pay for them."

"I recently purchased a 4-D cell model for a camping trip. It is the best flash light I have used, its built like a tank! Before purchasing it I shopped around to see for the best quality , features and value and this was it. I looked at a much higher priced lights from another manufacturer, I read their reviews and most people that purchased those higher priced flash lights bad mouth Maglite for having old technology. My camping buddy bought one of those higher priced lights and half way through the trip he realized he had forgot an extra set of lithium ion batteries and after driving for 45 minutes to the general store only to find out his great light that bragged about still wouldn't work because they didn't sell the odd ball batteries...I picked up an extra set just to rub it in.
My only regret with purchasing this model is that I'm finding that the replacement bulbs are a little scarce to come by, I'm finding most local retailers only stock bulbs for the smaller lights (2-3cell and AA), had I known this I would have purchased a smaller unit, just for the convenience of not having to special order bulbs."

"Pros: I have used the 2-cell, 3-cell, larger D-cell models...you name it. Maglite is the way to go, from brightness to durability to battery life. They are as bright as any light on the market. The lights can withstand numerous drops on concrete as well as being submerged in water for extended periods of time. They also have excellent battery life, as it has never been a problem for me.
Cons: none
Conclusion: Maglite makes the best flashlights that there are, hands down. From the smaller models to the larger ones, you can't go wrong."

"I have a 6-cell, 4-cell, and a 2AA Mini. They have all exceeded their expectations. These are some TOUGH flash lights. My 4-cell has the Maglite brand LED 3-watt upgrade and is as bright as my 6-cell light with it's krypton premium bulb. You might be able to buy better lights, sure, for a LOT more money."

"I absolutely love Maglite. I've had my for years and it has never failed me. It's bright...especially after I converted it to led. I just don't understand why someone would pay so much more for a light when this one is time-tested and more reliable than your best hunting dog. Maglite is the way to go!"

"We have an outfit in Colorado and we camp in the wilderness. As the camp cook I rely on this product to get me to the stream for water, check the horses, and get to the "restroom" in the late evening when you cant see 2 steps in front of you. I would not trust any other light in the conditions I need it for."

"I bought my first Maglite® Flashlight more that 20 years ago. Since then I have bought 4 more, in different sizes, simply because the first was so durable
The first Maglite®? Still got it...even after driving over it...twice. Once in 1989, and more recently, in 2007... and IT STILL WORKS.
The only things I've ever had to replace are the batteries and two bulbs to all my Maglite® Flashlights.
I am convinced that the only reasons that will have to replace this product are loss or theft."

"I have used the maglight flash light in my job in years past, and now for everything you can think of. The beam direction is a great feature. The fact that it's water resistant has been a lite saver, many times in my job it would end up in mud, soupy mud, mud mud. I could clean it off woth a hose and know that it would still fuction. The self cleaning on/off is it's only drawback. I have worn out several."
