"The jig heads are of good quality and I find them easy to use in my fly tying work. I felt by making an online catalog order that the items would be at a discount as compared to the instore shelf prices,

Great Crappie Jigs

"I have used the 1/80 and 1/120 jig heads for years flyfishing on small spawning creeks and lakes for Crappie and Sand Bass. I simply tie some marabou on (size of a #2 pencil lead)and it's ready. The lenght of the marabou is approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches. I usually tie it in the following colors: white, chartreuse, yellow and brown. This jig will catch Crappie even when others are setting there drowning their minnows without success. I catch the Sandy's 3 to 1 over my friends that fish the normal 1/4 to 3/8 jigs and minnows. This makes a good trout fly also.
Note: Tie a few extras for your fly-fishing friends because once they see the rate you are catching the fish they will want a few."
