Mepps Mepps® Timber Doodle®

Fish the Mepps Timber Doodle in the thickest cover with no more hang ups on lily pads, no more grass on the hook. Drag it through the worst slop out there, because all Timber Doodles are equipped with a genuine Mister Twister Keeper® hook. Timber Doodles produce an erratic swimming action, can be vertically jigged, trolled or cast and are deadly for bass, walleye and northern pike. Comes with 3 Mister Twister split double tails. Made in USA.

"Kinda a useless lure. Just another bait out there. I noticed it scares the bass away.
I bot the gold spoon with brown trailer
I wouldn't buy it again"

Effective on pikes.

,

"I tested this lure, which is new to my lurebox thanks to BassPro, yesterday on the Tormes river.
This river is quite complex to fish particulary because first there are few pikes left, second it's really difficult to walk on both banks, to find a place to throw from and the river is full of immersed trees.
After finding a good place to throw from, I saw a clear pike hunt with carps and bleaks fleeing.
Then I mounted a #1 Timber doodle with the 4 tails trailer, and catched the pike on the first retrieve.
I use it retrieving and stopping with speed variations, directly among trees and various obstacles.
I have not tried with an other trailer, but will do asap, because I find the 4-tails is a bit short for pike fishing."

All Year Fishing

"I've fished the Timber Doodle ever since I was 12 years old. I've caught Largemouth/Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Bluegill, Walleye and even Catfish fishing over and around weed-beds on Rivers, Sloughs, and Strip Mine Lakes. If you don't like the tail change it to 6" worm and you'll get great action. Years ago I couldn't find anymore Lazy Ike lures that were great for Largemouth Bass fishing along the weed lines so I decided to test the Timber Doodle by adding a fake 6" worm. The Timber Doodle has good balance and great action for Bass Fishing. Fish it using the drop and retrieve method. Have fun."
