"This is the best ever period. It catches fish when other lures don't. I caught a 9 pounder on it and I catch fishon it all around America in many different lakes, streams, rivers, bays, and in even the ocean. This is my favorite lure, and it's not debatable. Last summer, I didn't even tie another lure on. This lure catches fish no matter where you are. Every color and every size. All species of fish. I lost count on how many fish and what type I've caught. Every time of day, in any lake."

"I used this bait today at a lake not too far from my house, and in the 30 minutes that I had fished it (I went to fish around stumps and didn't want to risk losing it to a tree) I caught 2 bass. They were dinks, but I caught the only two fish between my friend and I. I was using a size 10 (4 in. 3/8 oz.) in the Gold color with a jerk-jerk-pause or a jerk-pause retrieve. Great bait, especially when you consider that I bought the lure for $5 from a discount section at my tackle shop."

"this lure is amazing I caught 4 18 inch plus bass on it but the thing is that its a little too light to cast with baitcasting gear thats why I could only givee it a 4 out of 5 rating but it performed well."

"I never fished jerk baits too often because they never produced well for me.(with the exception of the senko if you want to count that as a jerk bait). My buddy convinced me to buy a couple of these this year. I got one in firetiger and one in silver, I think both are HJ-05. I tried fishing them with a quick twitch instead of the long sweep, long pause retrieve and couldn't keep the largemouths away from them during pre-spawn. Also picked up a lot of good sized crappie on them."

"This bait works well but what ive found is it doesnt suspend. On fluorocarbon the larger baits sink but the little ones will float up no matter what. if you use braid the larger baits will also float up. although they dont suspend they wreak havoc on smallmouth in colder conditions"

"I love this bait, it catches everything from huge northern pike to large and smallmouth bass. You can reel it in as fast as you possibly can and you will get bit. The rattles are loud and the right frequency, and it's really versitile, I use it trolling, casting, jerking it, any action you imply to it will catch fish."

"i recently bought this lure and i love it. First of all you can cast it far to get to hard to reach places(great for fishing onshore/dock). but, be advised....they do NOT suspend.....they sink very slowly, so use caution when using them around shallow cover....
and, they fact that they DO sink is what makes them one of my faves.....the first time i ever used one, i had 3 fish over 5 lbs in less than 2 hours!!!!!!"
