"My dad and I both have this shirt and it does very well with ventilation. We live in Southwest Florida, and for this type of lifestyle where it's hot, humid and muggy just about everyday, I couldn't ask for a better shirt.
I have this shirt and the Nylon one, and I love them both.
As to one of the previous reviewers on here having problems with fading, I got this shirt in white, so I cannot give an honest opinion on that.
I do have the nylon shirt in blue, and it hasn't faded yet. I've fished both saltwater and freshwater with it."

"I have a long sleeve version of this shirt. On either side there are big ventilation slits in the shirt. The shirt is well ventilated but these side vents are a hinderance when using a rod and reel. I bass fish (typically with a 7 ft rod) and the butt of the rod gets hung up in the vents when trying to work a bait on the retrieve. It can be extremely frustrating. Especially, when sight fishing and an accurate cast/retrieve is of the utmost importance."
