Culprit: The Bass Mugger

,
January 30, 2007
By bassharrier
from Altoona Pa.
"I love these worms. Very durabile, excellent color selection, and in the sizes we fisherman want.
I never leave the lake without trying one of these first. Many times the Culprit has produced while my other plastic lures have left me guessing, and tying on other lures, trying to find the magic lure of the day.
Give them a try, You won't be disapointed."

"The Culprit ribbon tail worms are some of my favorite worms to use. They can be rigged many different ways and no matter how they are fished the ribbon tail always has a lively action. They are durable, made very well, have good scent added, there are many colors to choose from and they catch fish."

Summer Bass go to Tool

,
July 29, 2011
By LUCKYCAST
from Evans City PA.
Advantages: Style/Design, Performs well, Quality
Disadvantages: limted colors
"Bass will jump on this worm in 12 inches of water or 20 feet of water. They just work, weightless or Texas rigged, carolina style,do what you want, these worms catch fish in lakes, rivers and ponds.Try flippin docks and mats with this worm. When deep fish stop hitting a 4 inch drophot rig give them a look at one of these."

Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Value for money
Disadvantages: Performance, lost fish
"This worm gets bit but they don't hold on too well. I prefer the berkeley ones cuz they're thinner and shorter so bass seem to get it in one bite but its not too bad"

Disadvantages: Durability
"Anytime the bass aren't biting, I throw out a Red Shad, usually rigged wacky, and it almost always seems to get the job done. Wish they were a little more durable though, the bass I catch seem to tear these things up pretty quick."

"I have used many worms in my day, but I must say the Culprit Ribbon Tail Worm is the best Ribbon Tail I have ever used. It is a very graceful swimmer. The action is so life like, A far as Ribbon Tail Worms go Culprit has me sold. I only fish it weightless and grape has been quite successful. Culprit is a quality worm at a fair price."

"I have been using Culprit worms in the motor oil and crawdad colors since the late 70's and early 80's,I have had very good success with them. In fact, in my opinion, they out perform every other plastic worm! They have worked for mein Wisconsin, Florida, South carolina, and the list goes on... I think that;'s a pretty good reason to buy them."
