Works as Expected.

"I am very pleased with this product. It works exactly as expected and is quite durable. I have not had any problbems. It is easy on batteries and the ability to use the cigerette plug is an added bonus. Both work extremely well. With clear blue flourescent (CBF) monofilament line, it shines and glows. It's really neat. Have I cought more fish? Who knows, but it can be useful at times. The white light comes in handy when you have to tie on a new lure in the dark. The black light makes your CBF line glow. I've found that this really helps more to see where your line is headed, as opposed to seeing nibbles or bites, but it does still help on the dark night fishing.
Anyway, bottom line is it works exactly as I would have expected, and it has held up well. I'm pleased with the purchase.
Happy Fishing!"

It will get you by

Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: Performance, Durability
"I bought this to use until I could get a permanent solution installed. It is barely adequate, but served the purpose. If there is much competing light (moonlight), it is barely enough. The suction cups almost guarantee it will end up in the drink. If you can't afford anything else, it will get you by."

It definitely helped alot!

"It may not work out to fifty feet but works great in tying knots and seeing the little strikes. The darker the lighting conditions the better. We were fishing and a 3/4 moon rose after 11pm and it did lessen the visibility of the string further out.
Glad I bought it. Would have been handicapped without it."

"I finally got a chance to use the nightstalker fishing light last night. It worked great! The blacklight bulbs made the fishing line glow like it was on fire! I could see every little tap! The blacklight bulbs also kept the bugs from swarming all over us! This is a fantastic fishing light. The blacklight bulbs are the only way to go when night fishing!"

"Unit works great, have other night stalker units that are still working today but purchased this unit because it has 2 black light bulbs and the white bulb is located on the opposite side of the lamp fixture as the black light bulbs."

Good Light

"I use two of these while night fishing, one on the front of the boat and one on back. Make sure you're using a fluorescent line and you'll be able to see your line very well. It may not look very bright to you if you turn it on at home. But when you're out on the water it doesn't take much to illuminate your line at night. I don't use this to try and illuminate my entire boat. Just mount it on the side and use it to see your line at night. I use a head lamp if I need to see in the boat for tyling line or unhooking a fish."

"I had never fished at night so I bought this light. I had the light on the top cap of my boat. After three hours, the suction cups gave up and the light went into the water. The balist is now fried and the light is no good any more. 40 bucks+3 hours=Junk."

Advantages: Performs well
Disadvantages: poor circuitry
"Product preformed well and lit up my line very nice but did not hold up to Boat storage. Both units failed electrically as wires fell off circuit board.Maybe from being stored in the boat and bouncing around. I did soldering on both units to get them to work again. They are not worth the thirty some dollars plus shipping that they charge for them.I do not feel I abused these Items, they are just not built tuff enough."

"Dual bulb generates ample light. Back light nice for changing baits. Only disadvantage is the same as all suction cup mounts. If you own a aluminum boat, you have to be pretty creative on how to place and mount it. If there is product on the market to help solve this issue I would like to know about it."

"This unit is pretty good, Like the feature of using 12 volt's or battery's which is good for ease of use.
Lasted two overnight trip's so far on battery power. Light's up flourescent line's very well, Light does attract some bug's on either white or black light but still better than normal. Would buy again and when on sale is a great buy.

So far, so good

Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: Durability
"I was disappointed when I took these lights from the box. They seemed small, and well, cheaply made. On the flip side, they did everything they were suppose to--I could see my line well away from the boat, no unusual battery drain, and one even survived a dunking in the river(gunwale to narrow to properly use the suction cups). Right now I am satisfied--but will I be next season?? If they hold up they will be well worth the money."
