needs more pockets

,
December 31, 2011
By JustinsMom
from Central NJ
Advantages: Comfortable, Value for money
Disadvantages: lack of secure pockets
"my 5'10, 160 lb son fit great in a medium and he finds them very warm. Only drawback we found was no inside chest pocket. He likes to wear them skiing and no where for his cell phone. Overall great buy, but needs secure chest pocket (zipper on outside chest pocket would suffice"

Nice and warm

"Nice and warm insulated coverall. By itself, it provides adequate warmth for late fall hunting and with a jacket over the top will be great in winter. The full zipper legs are great for getting the cover-all on and off. Great buy for the price. Runs fairly true to size but I'd suggest going a size larger if you are borderline on the size. Would like to see a pocket in the chest area"

Great Coveralls

Advantages: Comfortable, Style/Design, Value for money, Quality
Disadvantages: material is noisy
"Got the product and I am happy with sizing and quality. However, Silent Hide isn't exactly the right name. The material is a little noisy for bow hunting especially when everything is quite. Deer look up quickly."

comfy and quiet

Advantages: Comfortable, Style/Design, Value for money
"I bought these coveralls and a pair of Walls brand from another store(both online) and whichever one was better, I was keeping and returning the other one. Well, these are staying. These had a little bit more insulation and the fabric was a lot quieter which really mattered to me because I was using them for bowhunting. The leg zippers also zipped all the way to the hips while the Walls brand only zipped up midway to my thigh. The only complaint I have is that the legs were kinda long for me but i'm short statured. I will probably layer under these and wear them for ice fishing also. My dad tried them on and like them so much, I just bought him a pair today also. I tried to convince him to keep the other pair so I would'nt have to go through the hassle of returning them but he really wanted a pair of these."

I love em!

Advantages: True to fit, Comfortable, Style/Design, Value for money, Quality, warm
"These are great. I am 6ft 6in tall and the tall size fits like a glove! I can sit down and legs cover my boots which helps keep my feet warn. They really are pretty quiet and even if they do make a lil noise its nothing and kinda sounds like a leaf rubbing something.
I wore these this morning. I had a doe and two fawns under my stand. I turned around and made a lot of movement getting my camera out of my pack and all three of them never heard me. After that I had a spike come in and he never noticed me either.
Over all they are warm, the price was spot on, quiet, nice camo pattern for where I hunt, and they hold up well for hunting.
A+ in my book."

Work ok for us in Texas

,
December 17, 2010
By NarnyTheGreat
Advantages: Ease of use
Disadvantages: Durability
"In Texas the temps dont get to low so based on the other reviews saying it required layers I bought this for my husband.
He LOVES it. It runs true to size. I thought I would order a size up thinking that would be required for extra layers but it doesnt. The XL would have been fine.
We did have a problem with one of the zippers braking so I will be returning it for a new one. I asked my husband if he wanted the XL instead of the XXL and he said no. Its not fashionable but it does the job and is comfy."

Disadvantages: Performance
"These are nice coveralls , But I give them only three marks because they a not very warm , I was in a deer blind with a tee shirt and a flannel lined long sleeve shirt and it was about 30 degrees for about two hours ,I was cold when I left. But I still would buy them agian . I worte this just to let others know what they are getting."

Good coveralls

"Good product. If it's going to be really cold,or if the wind is gusting strong, you do need to layer clothing. These won't keep you warm all by themseves, but in combination with the redhead enduraskin, and a pair of jeans it really works out. That's the best combination that I have found to wear on a cold hunt, without being weighed down with several layers of clothing where you can't move around freely."

GREAT PRODUCT

,
December 6, 2010
By NUNZ
from Bucks County, PA
Advantages: Ease of use, Durability, Performs well, Value for money, Quality
Disadvantages: needs more outside pockets
"I bought this to wear on opening day in Susquehanna, PA. It was 20 degrees with a heavy frost heading to the stand at 5:30 am. There was ample room to layer underneath. I was warm. It would have been great to have some additional pockets on the outside for binoculars, deer calls, etc, but not a big deal. Very quiet and did well in the brambles.
Great product, however, if hunting in anything colder than the 20's I'd want something a bit thicker with hood. Thankfully, there was no wind to speak of or that may have been a game changer.

"- Very satisfied with the Red Head Overalls.
- Quality to Affordability ratio is second to none.
- Great gift or purchase for beginner or experienced.
- Complaints about zippers were irrelevant.
Size tip:
I recommend ordering the "T"(Tall) size if you are over 6 feet tall. At 6'2", 225lbs, 34" waist, and broad shoulders. I purchased the "XLT" for additional length to the legs and torso. It fits great, and I even have room for additional layers underneath. Very satisfied!
