"I like that the gold actually looks gold and I find that important when fishing. My grandfather told me to always use a gold hook when fishing and these hooks have good color and shine."

Advantages: they were sharp
Disadvantages: Performance, Durability, Quality
"They are sharp but, that is the only good thing I found about them. The plating for the red hooks flakes off with little or no effort. The metal is much too brittle. I have only used them on crappie. I had one break just below the eye. I will buy american made hooks befor I go fishing again."

"I use this simple hook for most of my plastic worm needs. Mainly for weightless wacky senkos it tends to do the job. They come very sharp and the reason I give them 4 stars is because the red paint wears off very fast and they are quick to bend if you get caught up. Just make sure to check it every time you pull it free from structure and replace it if it's too bent or too much paint has been removed."
