Advantages: Ease of use, Value for money

Disadvantages: Durability

"They work... They catch the fish, but hooks bend or break off... I use them to fish for catfish around the 3 to 6 pound size.... I can get around 10 to 15 catfish before I need to throw a hook away.

The price is way better than what I have a my local tackle shop. Next time I might try a salt water in the same size to see if they hold up better."

"I use these as a trailer hook for buzzbaits. 2/0 or bigger works well. Just cut the odd hook off and run the other 2 up."

"I use the Mustad Hooks in a red finish to replace the poor quality treble hooks that come on some of my crank baits and poppers.

Since the treble hooks come in different sizes, I can pick up a couple of packages at a time to put on my poppers and crank baits.

They are made of strong metal, and don't bend easily. The tips also keep a sharp edge longer."

"These hooks are excellent,strong, and sharp. Yet the reason I am giving them 1 star is that they are overpriced. Why pay .75 cents a hook, when I can purchase them for .26 cents a hook at another supply company?"

"Everyone that does a lot of crankbait fishing should always remove the factory hooks that come with the lures and replace them with these. These are probobly the best hooks out there, they are sharp, and they are tough too."
