"My family and I have been using these grubs for years and have never been disappointed. The Chartreuse Shad is the color we prefer. These are good for catching crappie, bluegill, and even bass. I will continue to have these in my tackle box year after year. Great item."

Get some grub and catch some fish

,

Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Value for money, Quality
Disadvantages: Performance
"This is a pretty good grub most of the time. What I like about Kalins is that they have the thinnest tails 've ever used which makes them have amazing action at very low speeds.
Its easy to find stuff to move/wiggle/squirm at high speeds but much more difficult when you wanna slow roll them. Usually when the bite is hard is when you need that slow undulating action the most! These grub do pretty well in that sense, I like their bigger ones better, the action isnt as great in the small sizes.
A better small grub would be BPS's own triple ripple grubs, the tails on those create far more action. I gave this 4 stars because one of the packs I bought in the motor oil color were not created properly. Each and every one of them had the seam created lopsided on the grub instead of directly on top/bottom...that made all the grubs from that pack move a little weird because the seem wasnt lined up with the tail. Didnt happen to me in the other colors."

"I've order almost everything from the panfish section. This one is one of the few that actually catches crappie. Still, this won't out catch live minnows side by side but does better than most plastics I've tried on here."

Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Value for money, Quality, catches many fish species
"I have used these for the past 5 years and they never fail me. Typically, I use them with a 1/32 minow head jig with a #6 hook and target bluegills. But, I always catch many other species too. We will typically catch Bluegills, Crappie, Sunfish, Perch, Rockbass. While we are targetting the panfish, we will catch a lot of smallmouth bass and largemouth Bass too. I've even cought a 28" Nothern Pike and many smaller ones too.
The difference with these grubs is that they stay soft at all temperatures so the fish don't let go as quick, but they stay on the hook well too. We have often caught 100 big bluegills in a couple hours in the spring. Usually, you can catch 6-8 fish on a grub before it becomes unusable, or the tail gets bit off.
Our go-to color is the Black/Blue/Chartreus up here in NY and PA. Other colors work pretty good too, like acid rain, Chartreus shad, and Bumblebee.
Good Luck!"

"this product came recommended by a friend and has been outstanding. i have used these grubs the past two years with excellent results on bluegill, redear, crappie, largemouth, and smallmouth. Primary targets were the panfish. Types of water didn't seem to matter nor did the time of year. use the right color and you will catch fish gauranteed! unbelieveable product"

Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Value for money, Quality, very durable, great action, caught me my first of the year
Disadvantages: none
"First trip of the year. It's winter stil- February 18, in Baltimore, MD, yet it is somehow 70 F, very very unsual for here. The water temperature is still cold, probably still in the 40s despite the warming trend. I have the pfluger trion 5'6 light action rod, paired with the mitchell advocet II reel spooled with 4 lb clear/blue stren monofilament fishing line. I have the Kalin triple threat grub on a small white painted jighead. I first hit patapsco river recently trout stocked. After 20 minutes no fish, got snagged but got caught out. I learned one thing, the action of this bait was unbelievable the tail spun like crazy. On the way back home I stop at a small golf course pond, my old favrotie. Still some very thin ice on some parts I stay and make 30-40 casts, no fish. I move to one edge of the pond and cast to a filtration area bubbling in the pond and cast. Fish followed it up i suppose cause I felt some very light taps and missed em and even a hard whack and than one more smack-hookset-got em. My line flew off and he was at the surface splashin. A good 2 1/2+ largemouth bass. First of the year. I was happy. You will be too if you try these baits out."

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality
Disadvantages: small dia.
"For a 2" grub it should be a little bigger in dia. It to small for 1/8 oz. jig. It is almost too small for a 1/16oz
jig, however, it will work,
Has a nice action and will produce bites."

"This is my favorite crappie jig. I have turned my buddies on to them and I have standing orders from them when I order from BassPro.I use these bodies with a !/64th oz. minnow head jig but I bite off about a 1/4 in.of the head end to eliminate some short strikes. My favorite and most effective color is Tennessee Shad. I wish the BASS Pro catalog still listed these jigs. The tail action is better than ANY other jig body I have ever used. I am primarily a panfisherman, this body is good for bass, gills, crappie and even perch."
