worth the money/ great deal,
December 31, 2009
By USMC0311
from Illinois
Advantages: Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"After using my father's neoprene waders for several years I decided it was time to buy my own. Although these are not neoprene I am very satisfied with the warmth and quality of this product. I used them several times over the spring, summer, and fall in both rivers and lakes. I did not expierience any leaks or difficulty staying warm/cool. In addition, I did not expeirience any tension in the lower legs as I did with my father's neoprene waders, when the water was chest level. Overall I feel that this is a great product and well worth the money. As with all waders, make sure you hose them off when you are done and hang them as if you are wearing them. This should help prevent them from developing holes. Good luck fishing all...... tight lines!"

Buy Bone-Dry,
August 20, 2006
By vfish
from LaCrescent, MN
"I love these waders! I picked up a pair for my wife too. The RedHead Bone-Dry Hobbs Creek chest waders are great. They're very durable and well put together. They make for a comfortable day out. Adjustable suspenders and belt make for a perfect fit and they aren't too hot. The felt soles make for safe travel on slippery terrain. I can stand and fish all day dry, cool, and without sore feet."

wouldnt be my first pick for a wader,
January 7, 2010
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money
"i got these waders 2 years ago used them a few times trout fishing and one of the straps tore right in half! (guess i got a pair of lemon waders) dang near brand new waders and that happened and ruint a fishing trip, got that fixed and went fishing agian and i noticed that wow these have to be the coldest waders ive ever worn! i was wearing jeans and long socks and it was a good 70 degres outside and water was about 55 and when i got out of the water my jeans where physicly cold to the touch! i do have a few good things to day about them, other than the mishap and a few disadvantavges i loved them for summer fishing and staying cool, the felt sole held GREAT in slick water and when i used them to get my decoys out of my duck hunting lake they where fine and ive NEVER had a leak problem and i have used them to break through ice and push it and never a cut. i belive i have put them through everything a wader can be put through and they survived without a leak as other waders of my buddy's havent with less use"

"Keeps you dry but they are tight in the chest and small in the chest and hard to put on and straps are short and belt could be longer for big men and tall men."

My first pair of waders,
January 14, 2009
By Stevo31
from Fremont, CA
"I bought these waders for use in a float tube and I am not that satisfied with their performance. I live in California and the water doesn't get that cold, but for some reason after an hour of fishing these waders shrunk to my legs and made it uncomfortable to maneuver in my float tube. As this is my first pair of waders, I am not sure if this is a common occurrence.
The water temp was in the 45-50 degree range and these waders failed to keep me warm. I wasn't too cold but I sure wasn't comfortable. It definitely kept me dry though, no complaints there.
Also, the size 10 waders were a bit large for my 5'10" frame."

Best Deal I've ever got,
March 5, 2008
"I just resently bought these waders for less than 50 dollars on sale. After testing them out I would pay what they are going for now. They are deffinately worth the amount. My friend went trout fishing with me and his waders leaked. He decided to get new ones, just like mine because he saw how great of a deal they were. Overall I am very sattisfied with my purchase of these waders."

Red Head Bone-Dry Hobbs Creek Waders,
July 11, 2006
By Channel Cat Fisherman
from Kokomo, Indiana
"I have used this waders to wade a river, fishing for channel cats, and they have held up good, on the rocks and sharp ledges. The soft lining is so nice, and has no rough places to rub on you. I also use them for wading while Duck Hunting, and they keep me very warm, even though the water is cold. I have used them to break through thin ice along the edges, and the
footing does not let me slip, as it grips good.
These are the best waders I have ever owned. They are very tough and strong, and have held up well."
