Disadvantages: Difficult to use, too shiny. doesnt look authentic
"This product is decent for the money. But its not as easy as it sounds. It's difficult to hold the skull plate on the antler while you predrill the hole. You kind of have to get the angle right in the antler. If you had some kind of clamp to hold the two together it would help. Be careful if you are mounting smaller diameter antlers because if your drilling angle isn't just right you'll pop your hole right out the side of the antler as i did I don't think that 1 3/4 inch depth is necessary on smaller antlers. The screw head strips really easy. Also the skull is too shiny. I hit it with some fine grit sand paper and it helped take some of the shine off. Overall if you have the right tools and some patience it's not a bad buy but I won't be getting another one. Just doesn't look as genuine as a real skull mount."

"Just as advertised this was fast and easy. it only took about ten minutes to attach the antlers and asemble the skull. Im going to hang it next to my shoulder mounts. No messy skin and brains to mess with."
