Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Value for money, Quality, one of a kind it will bend without breaking, shiny gold hooks catch with no bait, very thin wire for live bait, super sharp

"HERE ARE THE REAL FACTS FOR THIS HOOK
I HAVE USED THIS HOOK FOR OVER 30 YEARS NOW, IT'S THE ONLY HOOK I WILL EVER PURCHASE FOR FRESHWATER FISHING. IT IS ESPECIALLY WONDERFUL WHEN FISHING IN CREEKS,STREAMS AND RIVERS. FISHING FOR PERCH IN LOG JAMBS OR SEVERE BRUSH OR WHEN FISHING ON BOTTOM FOR CATFISH, YOU WILL "ALWAYS" GET HUNG-UP,SNAGGED OR CAUGHT ON FALLEN LIMBS,TREES,STUMPS,ETC. WITH THIS HOOK, "THE ONLY HOOK IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD" (THAT I KNOW OF OR HAVE FOUND)THAT WILL STRAIGHTEN- OUT AND YOU CAN BEND IT BACK OVER AND OVER WITHOUT IT "BREAKING"> LIKE ALL THE OTHER HOOKS OUT THERE!! YOU HAVE TO USE A STRONG ENOUGH LINE WHERE THE LINE WILL NOT POP OR BREAK. I USE 20 OR 30 POUND NAME BRAND LINE. I WILL USE MY HAND AND MAKE SURE YOU WRAP IT WITH A RAG>(OR YOU WILL BLEED FROM THE LINE CUTTING YOUR HAND) I JUST USE MY T-SHIRT, WRAP THE LINE AROUND YOUR HAND AND "SLOWLY" PULL GOING IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, THE HOOK WILL STRAIGHTEN-OUT BUT NOT BREAK!!! YOU THEN STRAIGHTEN IT BACK OUT AND CONTINUE FISHING!!!!! ANYONE RIVER FISHING THE BRUSH WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, EVEN WITH USING THESE HOOKS (WHEN THEY REACH THEIR BREAKING POINT)YOU CAN'T HELP BUT HAVE TO RESTRING EVERYTHING, HOOK, SINKERS,SWIVELS,ETC. MANY MANY TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY. BUT, YOU CAN'T BEND THE HOOK TO MANY TIMES, IT WILL EVENTUALLY BREAK!!!! EVEN THE BILLION DOLLAR SPACE SHUTTLE FAILS!! AND YES, EVERYONE READING THIS, IT WILL STILL CATCH A FISH, YES A BIG CATFISH. JUST THINK IF YOUR LINE WILL BREAK BY HAND THEN YOU WILL LOSE THE FISH!! SO, JUST BECAUSE I SAY YOU CAN BEND THE HOOK STRAIGHT BY PULLING THE LINE WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT DOES NOT MEAN THAT JUST ANY FISH WILL PULL IT STRAIGHT!! YES, A 30 POUND TABBY MIGHT IF YOU DON'T PLAY HIM OUT REAL GOOD, BUT I HAVE CAUGHT PLENTY OF THEM ON THIS VERY HOOK, JUST PLAY EM OUT!! I HAVE HAD THIS HOOK (A SMALL PERCH HOOK SIZE 4,6 OR 8)BENT IN 5 DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS FROM A 22 POUND BLUE CAT OUT THE RIVER AND IF YOU FISH THE RIVER BOY DO YOU KNOW HOW STRONG THEY ARE!!!! IT PUT UP A 30-60 MINUTE FIGHT USING AN OLD ZEBCO 33!! WOW WHAT FUN THAT WAS BACK IN THE DAY!! ACTUALLY I JUST FINISHED RIGGING UP 18 POLES OF ALL KINDS AND I AM NOW READY TO HIT EM HARD, BUT I AM OUT OF THESE BABIES, I WILL BUY NOTHING ELSE FOR SMALL FRESH WATER FISHING. I LIKE TO USE THE CIRCLE HOOKS 6/0 OR BIGGER ON MY SALT WATER POLES( I USE THEM FOR BIG CATFISH). MOST PEOPLE THINK THEY WON'T EVEN CATCH A FISH(AS I DID) BOY WAS I WRONG!!!
THIS HOOK IS VERY THIN, IT'S PERFECT FOR LIVE BAIT>SHINERS WILL LIVE A LONG TIME ON THIS BABY!!! THOSE AWESOME REDWORMS WILL SLIDE RIGHT ON AND WIGGLE FOR A WHILE!!! AND OF COURSE THOSE CRICKETS WILL NOT GET AS DAMAGED AND LIVE FOR LONGER ON THIS HOOK!! OF COURSE, YOU MUST GET THE RIGHT SIZE HOOK FOR YOUR APPLICATION AND NEEDS!!!!

"I use Berkley gulp earthworms instead of live bait and these hooks hold the bait on well. I bought them hoping the long shank would help prevent the fish from swallowing the hook as I practice catch and release. Well, I have to tell you that I am VERY pleased with them. I like them so much I hate that I have other hooks in my tackle box that I need to go on and use up because the Eagle Claw Aberdeen has spoiled me!"

"i usually use these types of hooks for live bait fishing for crappie. the hooks diameter is very small so the bait is less penetrated by it, but stays on very well. also, when i'm crappie fishing, the diameter comes in to play. crappies lips or jaws, whatever they are lol, are very thin, so they rip pretty easily. so these hooks penetrate quick and subtle. Very nice!"
