"The socks were a Valentines gift to my husband. I had hoped even though they are a lite boot sock that they would provide extended protection while working outside in temps around 20 degrees.My Husband does wear an additional pair of socks with them when conditions warrant to provide enough warmth for him.
Washing and drying have not raveled or shrunk the socks...keeping their shape.
Good product overall."

"These socks are extremely comfortable with plenty of padding in all the right places. They're also very warm for how light they are. This wouldn't be a great sock for extreme cold, but it says so in the title: "Outdoor Lite Boot Socks". The socks breathe very well, as you'd expect from anything made by Under Armour.
I originally bought them to use while hiking but I've since ordered a few more pairs and I've taken to just wearing them around the house instead of my old slippers when my feet get cold. They're holding up extremely well under fairly heavy use. I'm very pleased and would definitely buy even more if my wife would let me.
One word of caution... The tops of the socks don't stretch very much, so if you have large calves like me you should order the largest size you think you'll be able to wear without it bunching at your toes and you should be fine. The material did relax enough to be comfortable after a while and the tightness actually just helps keep the sock up my calf. I don't count it as a negative at all, but I thought I should mention in case someone else would care more."

"I bought these socks for fishing. I was invited to duck hunt this past weekend and thought i would try them out in the high 20 degree temps. I was out from 5am to 12 noon and stayed comfortable. My toes did get a little cold near the end of the hunt, but a little walking around warmed them right up. Very good sock...worth the $$$$"

"I have used all kinds of socks to try to keep my feet worm in a tree stand. I have a good pair of pack boots but after a few hours my feet get cold. I used these socks and put a good pair of wool socks over them and the first time I used them I was in the stand for about 6 hours in 20 degree temp. with snow and my feet did not get cold at all. Super pair of under socks."

"I generally wear socks such as these continuously for 3 months out of the year or better. I received a few pair for Christmas last year and was happy to try them out. For me, they were very comfortable and felt like they would last a while. Boy was I wrong. I didn't have them for more then a month and they started ripping holes in the bottoms. I was dissapointed, back to Wigwams I go."
