Bear® Archery Lights Out Compound Bow
The Lights Out compound bow delivers great performance in the shortest and lightest high performance bow Bear Archery offers to bowhunters. This bow's performance starts with Bear's patented compression molded Flare Quad limbs. This special limb design provides durability, smooth energy release, and equal stress distribution to efficiently and quietly deliver superior energy to the arrow, where it belongs. Noise and vibration are further reduced by Bear's improved string suppressor and aluminum pivoting limb cups. The two-piece synthetic grip reduces vibration even further and provides the warmest grip available for cold weather hunting. Superior forgiveness and accuracy are delivered by the 8.75'' brace and minimum reflex machined aluminum riser. The Lights Out delivers great arrow speed (up to 300 fps) thanks to its Perimeter-Weighted Modular Single Cam system. Designed for a smooth, quiet draw and powerful release, the cam rotates quietly on a sealed stainless steel bearing and reduces cable friction with its asymmetric power track for better performance and longer cable life. "i shoot a lights out set at 55 pounds and it is a deadly set up with muzzy 100 grain 3 blade. they fly like field tips. i can hit a milk carton top out to 30 yards with this bow. i have taken a big fox and a wild boar that weighed around 400 pounds with this set up just get some gold tip arrows and blazer fletchings and watch em drop"

"I purchased my lights out, last week at the BPS in Rancho Cucamonga. After sighting it in I love it. After a lot of research for bows in my price range I went to go buy the Kronkie, the lights out was also on my list, the lights out felt better to me. With the help of Brian at BPS, we put a TruGlo site a Octane Hostage Pro arrow rest, a limbsaver stabilizer and a alpine quiver. Today I hit a bulls eye at 50 yards. I will take it pig hunting in April. Thanks Brian for all your help."

"I recently bought this bow and absolutely love it.Put the Pro Hunter adjustable sight and whisker biscuit on it.I have been shooting a bow for 25 years and have shot many different bows but this is the best.Very quiet and forgiving,perfect match of length and brace height,no hand shock or torque.Very nice camo and like the green and orange twist string.I shoot a heavy arrow,2117 easton and 20 and 30 yards are nearly the same setting on sight.These arrows hit hard.I would recomend this bow to anyone."

"I owned the bear element before this and let me say this is a great improvement. Bear did an awesome job in making this bow quiet, accurate, and very reliable. This is a great bow for beginners, novice, or veterans. The short axle to axle (30 inches) makes it great for manouvering in the treestand and it is very light even fully loaded. I would reccomend this bow to anyone looking for a great bow with a great price."

"I love this bow. I'm 15 years old and shooting 55lbs. Veary light, quite and accurate, at thirty yards I'm shooting 3inch groups. I have done split two arrows at 20yards and nock the nockers off a bounch at 30. Cant wait to shoot a deer with it. If your looking for a nice bow for less money this is the one. Good luck out there!!"

"I have been bow hunting for about 16 yrs now and have been shooting a PSE. I recently purchased the Bear Lights Out for a change and absolutely love it. I installed a QAD pro hunter drop away rest and a fiber optic sight and I am hitting a 3" circle from 30 yrds! This bow is quiet, fast, light weight, and not to mention that it looks great. I would highly recommend this bow if you are looking for a great bow for a low price."

"i own the bear element which isn't made anymore but is very similar to this bow. some people give bad credit to bear bows but i can't see why! it shoots hard is accurete and pretty quite and you can't beat the price.it helped me take down a nice 8 point whitetail and the bow has had its share of squirrles.the point is you can't go wrong with a bear and if i had more money id buy the truth 2!!!!!"
