"Ok, let me start out by saying this light is built extremely well...I have owned one for 3 years now and after hundreds of hours fishing it still performs great...(and still have never changed the bulb).....It is extremely bright!!!!, so bright that it will eventually give me and my partner a headache, and it does suck down your battery life!!!! There's been many tournaments I've fished up here when my battery has went dead after only 3 or 4 hours of use with the light and livewells running....It causes problems when our night tournaments up here are 12 hours long....and that's not good compared to fishing an 8 hour day tournament where your using livewells, plus 2 fish finders and never having to jump off your trolling battery....Enough bad mouthing, when this light's lit up in pitch dark, you can see the bank really well (based on probably 20 or 30 feet from it), it lights up Clear Blue Monofilament so good you can actually see your cast when making it...(Using Stren Original in 12 or 14 lb)....I gave it 4 stars because of its durability....It's missing the 5th star because of battery life and it's just to bright.....I myself will be buying the Bass Pro Night Stalker III....my friend has it and we now use it on my boat, using the D batteries saves my battery life till the end of the tournament and also my head from busting...Good luck on the water!!!!!!!"
