"I tend to be hard on gear and boots sometimes suffer the worst of it. It seems I can tear up even the most expensive boot in a couple of seasons, but since the day I've owned these, I've been impressed. They didn't take much break in for me and I've worn them on two western hunts, and everything in my home state. The lacing system pulls up tight and keeps debris out. They only seem to get more comfortable each time I put them on and they get 5 plus stars for their tough-as-nails construction that's not showing a bit of wear."

"These boots performed better than I would have guessed for my 2008 elk hunt. These boots are very comfortable and extremely quiet. They have good ankle support. I found them to have no hot spots at all. Actually I hardly noticed my feet at all during the hunt, now that’s comfort. I am a hot blooded guy I can’t stand to have hot or cold feet. These boots where perfect, not too hot or cold. Great early season boot, Well worth the money.
I could walk for miles in these boots in total comfort. wich led to me taking a nice 7x7 bull. great boot great buy, thanks Irish Setter for making such a great boot."
