Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money, bulk spools 1lb., very tough line, great knot strength, cast very well, out performes any line in it's class
"I fish 4/5 days a week for everything that swims I do this year round. I use a great deal of line. I find that the 4/6 lb. line is the best product on the market. I use the clear and I have yet to find a line that can out preform it. A big bonus is that this line stays flexable in very cold conditions. Many fish in the 25/40 lb class have been taken on this line. Not one lost fish do to line."

Greatest $ Value Purchase Ever,June 16, 2009

"Your BPS Excel line purchase is turning out to be one of my best purchases I've ever made. I usually use 30# to 40# braid on 5 of my Shimano Chronarch reels. However, now that it is June and the water in the California Delta is so much clearer than the springtime; I've now changed all my chronarchs to 14# Excel monofilament. And now it really has made a difference in my fishing success. It casts so smooth. Also, I don't have to worry about the cost of changing my Excel line back to whatever. Especially, since its cost is $0.002258 per yard. And now when one multiplies that times 100 yards it comes out to $0.22. Yes! That is only 22cents for 100 yards of new line. And this is for quality monofilament line. And if you don't believe me, go get a calculator and divide $21.95 by 9720 and see for yourself. You cannot go wrong making this purchase. Now my friend wants to buy a spool also.. Just like I did! At first he laughed at me for making that purchase of line. Well, now you know whose gonna get the last laugh."

"this product is very good bc it is really cheap and isnt bad line. it isnt very abrasion proof but for the price it is really good. my spool came with 7.5 miles of line for 22 dollars. you cant find a better deal for the price."

"this line is very very good, it is very smooth, low memory and it lasts a long time. I tried this line at my cotage and i only had to change it once at our 2 week vacation, and i fish alot so i would definetly recomend thiss product"

"The Excel line in general I like a lot for an inexpensive monofilament which gets the job done. Although I generally use braided line, I occasionally use monofilament for a variety of occasions. Given mono decomposes, tangles easily and abrades rather quickly, you will replace it more frequently then braid. The large 3lb spool makes the cost of respooling literally pennies. The Excel line in general is pretty strong, good with abrasion resistance, low stretch, but it does have a decent amount of memory, so keep that in mind before buying. With that said, it is the value of the century."
