"It’s a great idea and the reason I ordered some in the first place... but while they are great to have on your trebles on the boat... fishing with them on is another matter... the crankbaits don’t run as well with them on. As I say a brilliant idea but won’t be using them in the future."

Set The Hook HARD For Best Results,

"The BPS Treble Guards will keep you hooks weedless, but you will also miss fish.
Great idea, but sometimes some of the hooks get exposed on a hookset, sometimes not. To be effective, you have to do a real hard hookset when using the Treble Guards.
Make sure you keep your lures separate from the Treble Guards, the soft plastic will melt in w/ your plastic lures...not good."
