"This is my first high end fishing pole. I bought the 5'10 spinning and coupled it with a Garcia STX20 reel. The first time i took it out I was sold. It cast quite far with braided line. Also comes with a great warranty. Had no problem catching fish first time out. Great pole. I would buy another one."

"It got my attention because it was beautiful cosmetically. The performance for anyone is fantastic. I have to say I learned to really like St Croix for the feel they bring to the table and this is first rate. I would like to get one in a 7' size offer and perhaps we will see it later. The sensitivity is great. The strength is great. The balance is great. Without sounding like an employee of St. Croix or paid endorser, I highly recommend if you love to fish."

"I just want to tell everybody how great this rod is. The design and the look are great. I have been fishing St Croix for about 20 years and this rod is the best i have ever used. The sensativety is unbeliable I can feel eveything it so comfortable it scares me so if you have the money spend it on this rod you wont be disappointed!!!!!!!!"

"The problem i had when i started fishing tournaments was all of my rods were different brands, as well as reels. I just got 3 legend tournaments 1 spinning and 2 baitcasting and ill say this much, St. Croix has outdone themselves again. I've been with St. Croix now since i was 13 and these have my head spinning. The split handles are simply phenominal, the weight, comfort and all of it is just insane. The sensitivity, action and power are just magnificent. It outperforms the loomis imx, glx, techna av, avid, cara, and all others. Simply put, the best rods ive ever owned, plus backed with a lifetime warrenty. If your going to get rods for tournament fishing, do it right, and do it now. ATTENTION ALL ST CROIX ROD ANGLERS: IF YOU HAVENT GOT THE MEMO, THESE ARE THE RODS TO USE IN TOURNAMENTS SO CLEAR ALL THE OLD OUT AND GO WITH THE TECHNIQUE SPECIFIED LEGEND TOURNAMENTS."
