Beautiful rod, May 17, 2009
By Knuckles from Eugene, Oregon

Advantages: Performs well, Quality

"This rod is as attractive as it is a good performer. I got it to drop shot for bass with but have switched it over to my river rod for throwing spinners and spoons for trout and salon.

I've fished it for 2 years and it is still as shiny as the day it was new. The build is gorgeous and uses some of the best looking cork I've ever seen on a rod.

The action is incredibly fast and the matrix provides lightning quick dampening. This results in laser-accurate casts out past 90 feet with a 1/4 oz spinner and 6 lb fluorocarbon.

Pair this with the matching reel and you'll have a combo all of your freinds will be jealous of.

Good rod, March 22, 2009
By outdoorsman79 from Minnesota

"I love this rod. It works well with my Bass Pro Shop Extreme Reel. I broke my first one, because of a defect in the rod. Bass Pro Shops, being the world's best outdoor company, kindly replaced my rod.

The rod handles well, catching small muskies, big smallmouth, huge largemouth, walleyes, and northern pike. The 6.6' medium rod is universally simple, catching anything.

The guides are nice, the rod has good "feel", and my replacement has held up well.

The reel seat is very comfortable, along with all of the rest of the rod. It looks really nice too.
I have no complaints.

Great Value, March 18, 2009
By PainInTheBass from Milton, Ontario

"I purchased the 6'6" M rod a year ago and have been impressed with the rod. It has great action and versatility. I have used it for bass fishing to pike fishing, from crankbaits to worms.

The 2 pieces, although less sensitive or strong than a 1 piece, make it nice and compact for storage and transport.

I find the rod sensitice enough for worm fishing and strong enough to handle open water bass and pike.

Overall, a great value.

excellent, February 3, 2009
By hookemhorns from Round Rock, TX

"Bought two - one for me and one for my buddy. Excellent response and durability. Fishing stock ponds. Used this one over a year now. It's pulled 1/2 lb. to 7 1/2 lb. largemouths and still has excellent sensitivity and strength. Great buy for the money."

"I really like this rod, especially at this price($59.95). I have a 6' 10" medium light action spinning rod. It is very light weight and sensitive but has enough backbone to pull in a big smallie or largemouth. I went to Bass Pro and tried out every spinning rod in the store(I mean every one) and liked this one better than any one I picked up except for a $350.00 G-Loomis rod which was more than I wanted to spend. I highly recommend this one."
