"I used these with Zoom Shakey Head worms and they worked great. I also used the round head rigs. These seem to give more shake to the worm as it is falling but it is hard to get it off weeds than the round head rigs. It is great that these have Gamakatsu hooks. I never had a fish get off because of these hooks. I wish it was a 90 degree instead of 60 degree so the worm would stand straight up.
Try to go with a jig that is light so it falls slower but in deeper water a heavier jig is needed. It is like 3 for 3 of them so these are not real cheap but they are worth it."

"Of all the football heads on the market Strike King has the best hook for fishing smallmouths on deep structure. The wire size and gap are just perfect for the job. Top it off with a Berkley Power tube and whammo... you've got a deep bass vacuum."

"i love this jighead i use it with a 4' berkly gulp shrimp when fishing for reds n trout on oyster bars and jetties. the football desinge comes thro the rocks very affecently and i snag half as much as i would with a roundball jig head"

"This is the pefect Shaky Head for fishing a Strike King Super Finese Worm. This head seems hold the worm better than other screw style shaky heads. It has a sharp hook, and the Football shaped head works great for fishing it at the bottom ."

"I won big fish at a night tournament throwing these around lighted docks with an old monster worm. Just drag it along the bottom with your favorite worm and its bound to get strikes. Big ones at that."

"I bought these to try and expand my wormin' efforts. Can't say that I've been disappointed with them! They can be a bit of a bearcat to get set up if you using the Strike King 3x worms do to their stretching, but once they are set, they are amazing! The 3x super finesse worms really dance on this jig! Worth having in the box."
