Big fish eat little fish, and our 5'' swimmer draws the predators right in! Paddle tail guarantees plenty of wiggle on the retrieve. Slit belly makes it easy to rig weedless with a wide gap hook. Heavily salted. 10 pack.

super bait,September 9, 2009
By bpok12from Weatherford, OK
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money Disadvantages: Durability
"The swim stick-o is awesome. I have some hard jointed swimbaits and some other brands of soft swimbaits that cost around 20 dollars for one. The swim stick o out fishes all of the rest in most conditions. fishing it weightless near the top in flooded timber works great, fishing it like a senko in grass pockets works great, and fishing on top of gunk like a scum frog works great. It works great just slow rolled or as a jerk type bait. It also works pretty good on a drop shot in deeper water. I do wish there were more colors like chartruse."

"This is an excellent carlolina rig bait, I have not used it weightless, but it should produce that way as well. The paddle tail has the right amount and type of wiggle to induce stikes. Green pumkkin red is a great color that produced 4 keeper tournament fish for me."

Good bait after modification,February 11, 2009
By Sherman1100from Indiana
"The paddle tail is tilted too far back to wiggle at lower speeds. To correct this and make the lure softer, i boiled them in water for about 45 seconds and then pushed the tail forward so that is was more vertical. then I soaked them in ice water to set teh new tail position. This really helped the action and i can run them a lot slower. Tournament next week so we'll see how they work when the pressures on. But after the modification much much better action."

great price and great bait,December 12, 2008
By docavfrom Hamilton, OH
"I used these a lot this past summer while fishing other swimbaits. They are a great way to alternative to bigger swimbaits. I used them mostly near grass beds. When the grass was under the surface I would swim it right over the top of the grass and kill it when it reached any open pockets. Also fish it along the edge of the weed line. I tried several colors but white worked best for me. Doug"

Swim Stik-O,July 20, 2008
By HoosierFishFanfrom Terre Haute, IN
"I use this mainly in any thick cover environment, but lilly pads are my favorite because if you hook this thing weedless it will go anywhere and not get snagged and I will still get the tail action. It it my "go to" bait for lilly pads and most cover with holes in the middle or crusing points. Love it!! I bought a pack of most of the colors that I would use around here. June bug has worked the best this year. Its very handy."

Close , but---------------------,March 12, 2008

"I was so excited when I saw this bait, I couldn't wait to fish it. Now that I have , I'm extremely disappointed. IT DOESN'T SWIM. No matter how I retrieve it, it simply glides through the water like a normal stick bait. I even took a razor blade and notched the sides of the tail to reduce the stiffness and get it swim------nuttin. I'm no engineer, but it seems to me the paddle tail needs to be larger, providing more resistance, and there-by producing the desired swimming action. It's a great concept that I hope gets refined."

Cheaper Version Of The Expensive Paddletails,March 4, 2008
By Ghostfrom Indiana
"Bought these on sale during the Spring Classic, 3 packs for $10.
I used a 5/0 EWG weighted 1/8 oz red hook. With this weighted hook & the the Swim Stik-O, it casts very well even on baitcasters.
I used the pearl white color, since the shad were in this channel I fish. I let the lure sink after the cast & twitched it a few times then reeled in slow. When I paused it & started slow reeling again I get a hit. Waited a couple seconds to set the hook. Landed a 2 1/2 lb LM bass!
The Swim Stik-O isn't really that durable, maybe a fish or 2 but that's it. It tore up a bit by the nose of the lure. I guess the bass put up a pretty good fight that the ripped some on the nose.
But in those right condtions this lure will work just as well as those expensive paddletails, that are the craze right now. It has a slight licorice smell w/ some of the plastic smell too. So I smeared on some Megastrike to fend off the plastic smell & to help slide the lure in the fishes mouth. I do this w/ all my swimbaits, I useMegastrike. But any gel form lure attractant should work.
I'm pretty happy w/ this product, it's cheap & you get like 10 per pack."
