"I got the 5'2 model to use for panfish. The first day I used it it broke (my fault). Bass Pro gave me a full refund. The reel is smooth and the rod is sensitive. Then one day it while casting. I didn't know until I caught a fish. This is good rod but if you want a rod that will last get an Ugly Stik."

"Price is $49, but the basspro in Las Vegas had it on sale for $35. Actually got it for free thanks to the Silverton casino! Great combo no matter what the price. Smooth casting and retrieving. I'm going to pick up another one for next season."

"This is truly a great combo for the price. I purchased two of these combos in the 5'2" rod length and have had an absolute blast with them. The reels are very durable and both of the two I purchased have taken some serious punishment from big walleye, bass, and even a couple of pike. The rods are also very nice. They're a great match to the reel and are exceptionally well made and very sensitive. I fish mainly ultralight rods and reels and these are some of the nicest I've used in a long time."

"The wally marshall spinning combo is great for panfish. every time i go catfising i have my trusty wally marshall combo to handle any baitfish that is essential for cat fishing. it is a smooth real and holds a good amount of line the rod has IM7 graphite in it and it is at a very inexpensive price i would reccomend this combo to anyone who needs a pole for catching good bait or catching a good meal. Great match for combo."
