"this is the best rod for bream fishing. i have tried probably a 100 different rods for bream fishing. no misses with this one! i fish with a bobber stopper & the bass pro shops yellow slip cork with this rod combined with an ultralight spinning reel. no other rod that i have tried works like the wally marshall. i have 6 of these rods from 7-10 feet i am an avid bream fisher & i hope bass pro never stops manufacturing these fishing rods it would be a disaster for my fishing."

"I have this rod in the 12' length and love it. I use it minnow fishing a lot with a float. I use a bobber stop and that allows me to wind the line up close to the end of the pole then stick it up under the low lying limbs and cover and then let out the line. With the 12' I can fish where other people don't and not be right on top of the crappie. If you compare this rod to other similar ones you need to look at the number of guides and other things. This one beats the competition hands down. I will buy another!"

"This is the best balanced and workmanship I have ever seen. Why buy a cheaper rod when the best is only A few dollars more. Great action on the 10' rod I purchased. When crappie season is over it's also a great bream buster."
