"I have owned an Asaro for a little over a year and use it A LOT!! I have no complaints and will be purchasing another one soon. Very smooth reel, great drag and perfect sized for a low profile. Powerful enough to pull big bass out of heavy cover/grass on Lake Guntersville where i fish."

A lower priced alternative to my favorite reel,March 4, 2008

"I've completely enjoyed the Summit by Pflueger, and this newest offering is basically a Summit with single instead of dual anti-backlash control. All of the features of top of the line reels, at an excellent price. Very smooth casting and handling. Fits my hand perfectly, just like the Summit does. I really like the bright paint scheme. Although the Summit looks sweet and sleek, the Asaro just screams "Check me out!". What can I do besides answer the demand?! This is one of the BEST choices in a medium priced, extremely high quality, tournament grade reel. Lots of reels make the "tournament grade" claim. This one meets and exceeds it. Pick one up and play with it a while. I'm sure you will agree."

"This is one smooth reel. I wish i had 10 just like it. Very smooth casting, you can really get out there even with a small bait. It seems to be accurate as well even in windy conditions. I am very impressed and will most certainly get another one soon."
