"I just got this product this week I have used it everynight making jerky, it dries every piece perfect, no matter what try it is in cooks even from the top to the bottom tray. Best dehydrator I have ever used, I have owned to diffrent dehydrators and this one with out a doubt is the best. I recommend this prouduct. the last one you will ever buy!"

"I put this unit to the test the 2nd day I had it. I used some cheap round steaks and cut them to the desired thickness according to the guidelines in the users handbook. The outcome was fantastic. The product is easy to use and clean. There is no need to upgrade to a more expensive model. This one does it all."

"Load the dehydrator up and turn the unit on. It is just that easy. Two days after purchasing this unit I made my first batch of jerky that turned out great. My wife and I make jerky on a regular basis and have also made different fruits. Everything we have attempted has been excellent"

Hard to beat easy to use,

"We bought this dehydrator as a test to see if dehydrating was for us or not. At this point we have had it 16 days and its been in constant use since day one and has produced fantastic dried veggies, fruits, leathers and meats of all types from poultry to beef and also lamb and fish.. It was intended primarily for producing dried doggie treats, but it soon found its way into our everyday life as well. Simple to use and clean, does a great job and can not see what would be gained by a higher priced unit.. I would not be afraid to recomend this unit to anyone. Our intent is to pick up another next week."

"I have never used a dehydrator before i got this. It was really easy to use. It works extremely well. It is worth every penny you pay for it. I have had it for two years and i use it once a month.It has held up well.If you like jerky ....You should but this product."

"I bought this dehydrator along with some jerkey making supplies..after mixing up the jerkey all I had to do is lay it on the trays,plug it in and walk away..
This dehydrator made things a whole lot easier"

Great Product for Beginners,

"This product is perfect for beginners. Easy to use, just flick the switch and start drying jerky. Pre-set temperature which starts at 130 and works it way up to 160 then recycles. Easy to read instructions and is a lot of fun to make. Comes with 2 packs of seasoning but I would recommend buying JUST JERKY cookbook by Mary Bell. Gives more detail on jerky making process and lots of recipes that are delicious. If you are looking into making jerky this is a great product to start with."

Great Jerky Maker,

"I bought this machine for my brother as a Christmas gift, but the price was so good I bought myself one as well. I just tried it and it works great!
I didn't know you could make jerky using hamburger until I was at the store and read the box. I tried it last night. It was easy and turned out great. Just mix the spices with hamburger and use a jerky gun (looks like a calk gun) to press out jerky. The directions say you can use stips of meat and marinade it.
I am very happy with the results and I will try to update my comments after Christmas when I talk with my brother."

"I ordered the Open Country dehydrator online, received it three days later and immediately put it to work. Made my first batch that night with one of the marinade mixes that came with the machine. Quick and simple to use and a breeze to clean. we have made two more batches since then and more to come. Once again great product!!!"
