"I bought my eTrex Vista HCx over a year ago and have been nothing short of happy with it. It is a rugged unit that has survived rough trips down the North Anna, the Upper James, and the Little River, being submerged in water, and it has navigated me all over the South East US with Garmin's City Navigator maps. I love the tracking feature, compass, and I especially like Garmin's customer service. The rubber bezel around the unit has a tendency to stretch out of shape and come off after extended use but Garmin sent me a replacement kit free. I highly recommend this tough as nails unit to get you into the woods, down the river, or into the urban jungle and back home again!"

"I purchased this unit just a short time ago. I found it very easy to understand and use. Using my home computer to assist editing waypoints and maps is very user friendly. I have a hunting buddy that has a GPS that costs about $200 more, he finds mine much easier to run and more options. I would highly recommend this unit to beginners and to the experienced alike."

"I had the Garmin GPS 72 and hated it since I bought it. I decided to get a Magellon and went to the store, but when I was looking at the GPS's the clerk told me about this one. I said I will not buy another Garmin. So he told me to try it out along with the Explorist 210 I was determind to buy. We walked around the store and I immediatly fell in love with the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx and bought it immediatly. I have only had it about 2 weeks and I have been using it every where I go and the reception is beyond great. I would hughly reccommend this product to anyone, I even already told my father about it!"
