"This fly is my favorite bass popper. I caught a 7.5 pound bass on 14 pound tippet in a retintion pond in tampa fl on this fly in the green color. I was thirteen. I never applied for a record but I think it was. GET ONE."

"I have both of these, the size 4 in green, and the size 10 in yellow. They are great, and I caught my first fish on the fly on them. I spin fish a lot, and these foam/cork poppers are just as good as the plastic ones that I fish with. I have caught alot of fish on these, and they are perfectly weighted, so it doesn't take long to get these flies far out there on my 5 weight rod."

"I have caught many Bass and bluegill with Betts poppers. Days when fish have quit biting, I can always pick up my fly rod and Betts poppers. --- Catch up to 50 bass and panfish a day. When there was no other bite to be had. Excellent poppers. Chartreuse colors, small size. Great pond action. try searching Betts Bass Pro has a big selection, and they're awesome farm pond poppers. recommended to other fishermen."

"these poppers are an excellent choice for any panfish. throw this in a slow moving stream for white bass, suspended crappie, even smallmouth, or throw this in a farm pond for the biggest bluegill you have ever caught!, or even throw this over a weed bed for largemouth! for farm ponds and lakes, the frog pattern is unbeatable, for streams, i like to stick with charteuse!"
