"I first used these beetle bugs over the weekend. I rigged them onto orange road runners. The crappie could not resist. I was fishing beside a buddy and he was using a minnow lure. We were casting in the same vecinity and I caught twice as many crappie as he caught. I retrieved the lure at a moderate speed. The hits were hard and there was no mistaking that you had a fish on. The bodies on these bugs are durable and withstand many crappie. This is not a waste of money."
