"I gave the SeakSkinz socks four stars instead of five is because protection against the cold was fair. I use them fishing out of my kayka this March water temp was about 58* and I can feel it. But my feet did stay dry so that was a big plus. Will buy another pair."

"I swear by these socks. I can get two or three seasons out of a pair (depending on how much cactus gets through my shoes..lol) while pretending to chase pheasants, trudging through the bogs and salt marshes and bad lands here in Wyoming, and the occasional creek and shallow parts of the rivers (before i dig out the waders for waterfowl) and my feet never get wet. I've been amazed how much abuse they take. I even use them for deer and elk hunting(archery). They also add an extra thermal layer that helps keep the frost out, and seem to assist with odor control, which is critical with archery hunting. Just let them hang open for the night and they are good to go next day. A little extra care is required while puting on and taking off so the materials don't seperate, but it's way worth the tiny effort to keep feet and lower legs dry."

"I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WEAR THE SOX TWICE IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS AS IT IS SALMON FISHING SEASON IN MICHIGAN AND I'M FLY FISHERMAN WHO IS NO LONGE ABLE TO TAKE THE COLD WATERS WITHOUT A LOT OF PROTECTION FOR MY FEET. THE SOXS KEPT MY FEET WARM AND DRY AND WERE ALSO VERY EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF. I WILL LIKKELY ORDER ANOTHER PAIR SOON."

"i just bought these from bps in colombia mo. on my way fishing in my kayak. my feet stayed dry all day while fishing for 12 hours. had to get in the water to get into my kayak but feet stayed dry. Excellent investment."

"Great. Your feet will Thank you, and you will not be dissappointed. recommend you wear a liner sock under these, anything thicker and your feet will start sweating. Have wore these with a pair of leather boots in temps down into the teens, walking thru snow and slush for 10-12 hours straight. Feet stayed warm, and did not get wet."

"I just recently took a fishing trip to Alaska. NO BIG DEAL unless you are from the south. There was a 50 degree difference in temp and it rained every day all day long. I'm proud to let you all know that even though my Gortex failed, my feet where dry and warm the whole trip. This is a RECOMMEND from me. good luck and dry feet...."
