Not so good....

Disadvantages: Difficult to use, Performance, difficult to crank

"Product does what it says, but you had better be a muscle man in order to crank the charger. The light given off is very dim.

The crank is not long enough for the resistance of the charger. The crank mount when opened, does not quite get level, between these issues, I would rather replace a battery. Other units have a longer handle and with a fully opened crank, they charge with ease.

I would pass on this unit and find one which is actually practical."

"Dont buy. Broke first day of usuage and I would rather sit in the dark than to crank that thing for a minute to see 1ft around the base of the latern. Gave my son the small one that came with it and it works as a toy."

"Wasn't sure if this would serve us well, but to date, it's worth every penny! We bought two for the cabin in Arkansas, which does not have electricity and they run for hours. A must for the cabin, and a must for the hurricane season as we live in Louisiana. Definitely recommend!"

Not the Best but Not the Worst Either

"I bought this to use for basically everything (mainly camping). Both work for a while and do give off a fair amount of light. Its important though that you really wind them up good prior to using them. The flashlight only works so far but for up close its perfect. I use it all the time. I keep it in my car most of the time for emergencies. The lantern doesn't seem to hold a charge as long as the flashlight but it still gives off a decent amount of light. I have deffinately seen better lanterns that give off more light but then you need to add in the price of batteries or fuel. Like my title says its not the best and its not the worst. If you're looking for super bright. I don't think you'll be impressed. I will say though that you get your money's worth."

HAPPY CAMPER WOW

"I was given a gift card from CC my nieghbor for BASS PRO and i looked all over but he said he just went night fishing with a flash light and it was tough. So that lit me up.I looked and decided i would get a lanturn and wow i saw the crank up with led,s and no 5 dollars worth of batteries everynight. I saw this and i new that was it message from old fisherman that are not with us any more GOD BLESS THEM ALL. .I cranked the lanturn for only 30seconds and it stayed lit for quite a while Then i cranked it for 60 seconds and wow i just love it. I took it in my bedroom lights off and Could see everything still 2hrs later and it says last only one. That was 3 days ago and i just hit the button and it still has light so yes this is a buy and I will love it forever- let there be light and there was with only a crank and no big batteries to throw away each time. THE crank flashlite works great, I love it and will hang it up on my 19ft. aluminum boat and they will say -look at all the light there must be a big boat ..IT is quality and made to be kicked over and back to work. Thanks CC and BASS PRO for such a good product and gift. HAPPY CAMPER me . Good health to all and good fishing to all Now i will be able to see the big one when i catch the world record with my new lanturn from CC and BASS PRO, I will see its eyes when i pull it in. Best light source

"I have used many lights throughout my 50 years of fishing, but this one is the best I have ever had.
You crank it up and it stays lit for more than just several minutes. It works the way you want a battery type light to work, bright, a long time and easy to use.
Our power went out and this light along with the hand-held unit that goes with it kept us in the light all night long.
You can't go wrong buying one of these. I plan on getting them for all my kids."
