"i just used them today for the first time and i love em. i was getting hits like crazy but only landed a 4.4 lb bowfin. it was more likely my fault for not setting the hook properly on the other fish. i was using the green pumpkin/pearl with a size 5 hook. i gave four stars due to price and durability. but they will catch fish."

"This toad has amazing action that moves more water than any other frog i've used. It causes tons of noise that get violent reaction strikes. However, i give it a 4 and not a 5 because it has a tendency to run upside down if not properly rigged, and it sinks fast, so you immediatly have to start crankin it to keep it on the surface. I find that to keep it runnin right side up, you have to make sure the belly is bowing out a bit. but even when it's running upside down, it's action is still great and i've caught fish with it."

"Just started using this frog and its pretty good.Been using the Green Pumpkin with the pearl belly and the bass just explode on the thing! It goes over matted vegetation very good and you can usually catch a couple fish on one lure.I've been fishing it on a 5/0 hook with no weight and it put's out noise as if it was a buzz bait. Awesome Frog!!!!!!!!"

"The Rage Toad is an excellent soft plastic frog. It has produced more than any other frog i have used. It's tabbed tails produce a buzzbait like noise but still holds the shape of a frog which i think is the key to its success.. Also if you are a tournament fisher or just a big bass hunter, it kind of weeds out the smaller bass hitting.. the times i have used it i haven't had a bass below 2 pounds hit it. I do agree with Ohiobassangler that it doesn't like to stay up right but with some tweaking of the hook u can get it straight. and it could be made a little more durable.. Overall though, this is one of the best lures in my arsenal."

"bass hit this lure like crazy. i caught 6 3+ pound bass on it in less than an hour. its a fantastic lure. the only problem with it, is it rips a lot when fish hit it. other than that it's great. its got a good scent and incredible action. i've use a few different colors and they all worked great. i would definitely use this lure if you enjoy catching lots of bass on with top water."
