"It needs a better design when it comes to the cleaner bottle/fluid. I think on things like bearings you want to soak it in it and the bottle makes it difficult. Other than that the grease and oil work great and out performs the factory oil/grease on many reels."

"I fish mostly in dirty, weed filled farm ponds so my reels tend to get built up with some nasty stuff pretty quickly. This kit is very helpful in tearing them down and cleaning with ease."

"A great all around kit. I'm not someone that handles my gear with alot of care so my reels get real dirty. This kit gets my reels clean again and ready for me to dirty it up again. I only wish the cleaner container held more ."

"i love cleaning my reels when i have nothing to do but before i just used wd 40 and cloths now i can clean my reels with everything in this pack and it has a nice box for keeping it together and i like all the different cleaning conponents which works great for cleaning all kinds of reels and i can use these on rainy days for when i have nothing to do"

"This kit happened to be on sale at my local BPS and it seemed like a pretty good deal. If yo buy the oil, grease, and cleaner separately you'll spend just as much as the cost of this whole kit. Once the reel butter runs out I'll probably switch back to the Abu Garcia brand since its much less expensive and it hasn't done me wrong yet."

"Just finished cleaning & lubricating three of my oldest and most used Okuma Epixor spinning reels. This Ardent kit, a Christmas gift from my son-in-law and fishing buddy, made the job quicker and EZier. All the "stuff"" you need in one place w applicator tips.
Cleaner/degreaser and a very ligh oil...grease for the shaft & gears. Would be nice to have a more complete instructions booklet for first timers. The sizes are small...we'll see how long the fluids last."

"Ardent has done it again! This kit is the most handy and practical product I have ever used. The oil and greese are the BEST in the industry and the Reel Kleen is the most incredible product I have ever seen. They supply you with tools and cleaning instruments as well. This is a kit that every angler should not be caught without! I was on a recent fishing trip to Florida and took the kit along with me. It allowed me to fully service my reels at night in the hotel room as I was fishing about 14 hours per day and they were ready for some TLC when I returned to the room at night. Another plus for me is that the kit is made in the USA. I would never use anyone elses products!"
