"i have had this bow for almost 2 years now, and after many arrows, at least 150 a week, this bow has been amazing, i shoot every day and never had a problem, few upgrades hha sight, trophy tacker rest and this bow shoots as good or if not better than my friends hoyt, and mathews. size, speed, and price make it the best bow."

"I purchased this bow in August of 08 and was in perfect shooting form by hunting season. This bow is quiet, fast, accurate. Last year was the first time I also shot from a ground blind and had no trouble based on the short axle to axle length. I also shot with friends whom were shooting Mathews equipment and did I get some jaw dropping stares. They thought I was a genious for buying such a nice bow. Nice warranty also."

"This bow, when set up properly, is insane. Worth every penny. I have the trophy ridge drop rest and tru-glo sight and i could not be happier with it. It easily shoots .5" groups at 20 yards, I have to back up further or else I will just ruin all my arrows. Very nice bow, I would recommend this to everyone hands down best bow I have shot today, and that is including all the mathews switchbacks, reezens, dxt's, drenalins, etc."

"I researched the current compound market quite extensively when I decided to get back into archery. After several months of research, I settled on the Black Ice by Diamond. Since then I've added an X-Force by PSE and an 82nd Airborne by Bowtech. The Ice is not as fast, but it is smoother, quieter, more easily tailored to my individual shooting style. If I had to cut back to only one bow [God forbid] it would be the Black Ice by Diamond. But I am thinking about upgrading to the new Ice with the "velvet touch" ... hum"

"There's not much that I can say except wow. I'm truly speachless. This is quite possibly the best bow that I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. I've shot all the big name brands and am sold on this one. From the smooth draw, to the speed, to the sound (or lack of), it's quite unbelievable. Unsurpassed accuracy combined with ease of use create a bow that's truly "fun" to shoot. I'm pulling 61 lbs. and with CE Maxima 250's getting 296 fps. through the cronograph. If you're looking for an amazing bow, you can't afford to pass this one up. Shoot the Black Ice and you'll never Switchback due to lack of Drenalin!!!!"

"Overall a very smooth draw compared to other high end bows. I've had this bow 3 weeks and I simple enjoy the 80% let off at 65 lbs. I tried using a 70% let off and I didn't enjoy the bow as much. I compared this to the mossy oak x (draw not as smooth) and the marquis (longer and heavier) and choose the Black Ice for it's smooth draw, light weight and short ATA."

"It's gonna be hard to improve on this. I haven't shot a bow in years, yet when I shot this bow the first time I was amazed. Very smooth draw, ultra quiet release, and very forgiving. "Bow Tech really has a good thing going with Diamond archery.. The Black Ice is simply the best bow I have ever held in my hand. Its balance in remarkable, and the back wall is the smoothest I have ever felt. This bow is years ahead of the competition in single cam bows. I couldnt imagine anything more durable, fast, light and smooth being produced anytime soon. This is an engineering marvel. Save the couple hundered dollars and shoot the black Ice.. That is the only sales pitch to describe it.. SHOOT IT!!!!!"

"MY SON IS INTO BOW HUNTING BIG TIME, GUIDING HUNTS, TEACHING, ECT. SO HE TAKES ME TO BASS PRO SHOP IN SAN ANTONIO TO LOOK FOR A BOW. THE STAFF WAS GREAT, AS WE SHOT EVERY BOW THEY HAD AT THEIR INDOOR RANGE. WHEN I PUT THE DIAMOND BLACK ICE IN MY HAND, IT JUST FELT RIGHT. IT WAS LIGHT, SMOOTH, FAST, AND QUIET. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF ARCHERY FOR 25 YEARS, AND AFTER ONE WEEK OF PRACTICE, I AM CONSISTANTLY GROUPING 3 INCHES AT 20 YARDS AND 5 INCHES AT 35 YARDS. THIS IS A GREAT BOW AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. THE BLACK ICE IS REALLY A "COOL" BOW."

"I have had this bow for a month now and group within the inch up to 30. My cousin purchased a Parker at the same time. After many problems got a Truth. After problems with it he got a Mathews. I have shot all four. The Black Ice is hands down the smoothest and quietest Ive seen. I added a string supressor and it took out the tiny bit of string vibration and now it is effortless. After adding a good drop away, I IBO just over 300. Again WOW."
