Excalibur Lumi-Zone Crossbow Scope
The ultimate low-light scope for the serious crossbow hunter. The 40mm objective lens with illuminated multiplex reticle offers superior light-gathering properties so you can hunt the periods when game is most active. Crosshair spacing for arrow trajectory is adjustable in 10-yard increments, calibrated to arrow speeds of 250-350 feet per second.

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money, Quality
Disadvantages: difficult to remove battery lid
"I LIKE THE VISIBILITY AND THE CLEARNESS OFF THE SCOPE, I LIKE THE ABILITY TO SET THE ARROW SPEED. BUT THE SCOPE THAT I RECEIVED HAD 1 PROBLEM. I HAD TO SCRATCH THE SCOPE UP TO GET THE BATTERY LID OFF OF THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT. I MEAN 'I USED A VISE GRIP ON THE PART THAT TURNS THE BRIGHTNESS SETTINGS TO HOLD THAT PART STATIONARY AND THEN I USED A NICKEL TO TRY AND TURN THE BATTERY LID---- IT BENT THE NICKEL, IT BENT A SECOND NICKEL--- FINALLY I USED ANOTHER PAIR OF PLIERS'. I DO LOVE THE ILLUMINATING CROSSHAIRS!"

"I have no problems with this scope. I have shot my horton with the scope on probably fifty times. The reticule did not move at all and is still dead on. A very good product, its hard to sight in tho unless you know how fast your bow is for sure. I would recommend to all"

The difference between dead deer and missed deer

"I recently purchased an Excalibur Exocet crossbow from the Hanover, MD Bass Pro. By far the best crossbow maker on the market. It comes with sights which work well in daylight. Unfortunately from me most of the deer I see are early morning (30 min before sunrise) making the sights difficult or impossible to use. After missing a sizable doe at 20 yards, it was time for a scope. Went back to the Bass Pro, where Kevin in the Archery Dept mounted and help me sight in the Lumi-zone scope. We had it dead on at 20 yards. The next morning came and I was presented the opportunity as a buck came passing by. It was early in the morning 30 min before sunrise on a cloudy day. The available light was poor. However, using this scope and the illuminating reticle I was able to see the deer clearly. I fired an Excalibur carbon arrow with their Bolt Cutter broadhead and dropped the deer in its tracks at 20 yards. Arrow went through the heart.
If I did not have this scope on I would have had to pass up on another opportunity. The Lumi zone is $40 more than the Vari zone scope. At some point you will have a deer come by in low light, and the extra $40 is going to make all the difference. I recommend this scope to all. Drive to the closest Bass pro to you and have them install it and sight it in for you."
