Its just ok,August 19, 2008
By Reeceiver
"Upon buyng my buck I took it back to the office to assemble. I had to drill the hole for the front leg bolt. The back left leg was hard to attach. The decoy looks realistice. I will put it together before I go into the woods and will not put the legs in the body cavity, I will just keep them in the bag."

Worth having,March 12, 2008
By RUTandSTRUTfrom NE Missouri
"I bought one in the winter of 2007 and havn't actually used it much yet. When I first got it home I set it up to look at it. I am pleased with the realistic look and ease of setting it up. I also like that you can use it as a buck or doe with movable tail and ears. The only things I don't like are that the hard plastic parts can make noise when setting it up in the field or carrying it through any brush. Also wish it was a little easier fitting the parts back into the body cavity when taking apart. For the most part I am glad I have it and looking forward to use it more. I think the negative parts I mentioned are just part of having a hard plastic 3D decoy and there really isn't any way of getting around them. I don't see how you could find any decoy that's going to be any better."

Best Decoy for the money,March 4, 2008
By arrowflingerfrom Iowa
"I used the carry-lite decoy for the first time last fall and I was very impressed with it. The decoy was easy to carry and quick to set up. The rugged outer shell stood up to the beating it took and it's realistic over all appearance lured in numerous bucks and does. My hunting partner bought one for this fall because of the success we witnessed. I would recommend this to everyone. Thanks."

Expensive, but worth it!,November 12, 2007
By JonnyDfrom Loogootee, IN
"I purchased this decoy on November 5 and used it for the first time this past weekend.
Appearance: The decoy is very realistic looking. By adjusting the ears and tail, even more realism can be added. The decoy is very detailed, even down to the eyes.
Quality: Although the decoy is made of hollow plastic, it is very sturdy. I have not had any trouble with parts falling off and have set the decoy up at least ten different times.
How I Used It: The first morning I hunted, I used the decoy as a doe with the ears in "relaxed" position and the tail down. I sprayed a tad of estrous on scent wicks and placed one wick at the rear of the decoy and one on a nearby branch. I used a drag to trail scent leading to the deocy. The second morning, I used the decoy as a buck and used only one antler, thus creating a "weak side." I placed buck urine on wicks and drag and did as I had for the doe decoy.
Results: The first morning, I could not believe my eyes. Around 7:50am, a small 6 point buck was making his way about 50 yards out. I bleated at him and he stopped. I bleated one more time and I could tell he saw the decoy. He made a straight line for the decoy and circled around to its rear. He was not a shooter though, so he eventually wondered off, not scared. Around 9:30, a massive 13pt buck was making his way beside my stand. I bleated and he turned and saw the decoy, but went back on his way, paying no attention. Then I gave a buck grunt. this infuriated the deer. He ran to a small tree about 4 yards from the deocy and began rubbing his forehead on the tree. He pawed the leaves as if to make a rub. He then came up to the side of the decoy. At this time, i believed he was worried about another buck trying to mate with my decoy, as he stayed by its side for about 10 minutes. he gave me a nice shot at 8 yards, but i shot over his shoulder :( . Fortunately, the decoy nor the missed shot frightened the buck and he wondered off.
I did not have success using it as a buck, but the weather on the morning i used the decoy as a buck was horrible. Very windy and rainy. Not much buck movement in the area so I am not sure if the buck is effective or ineffective.
Overall: this decoy is worth the money if you are having trouble bringing bucks into range. I often see bucks at 40+ yards and grunt or bleat at them but to no avail. Using this decoy added the visual they needed to bring them into bow range. Both bucks were at 15 or less yards."

Fun In The Field,November 6, 2007
By kmeadfrom Tulsa, Oklahoma
"I recenly used this decoy during the Black Powder season in 07' and had fun watching the deer come in to investigate this decoy. The construction is sound with the exception of the back legs having a tendancy to fall off when bumped moving the decoy in the field. Once set in place and staked down the decoy is solid and creates quite the interest from other deer when seen."

Carry-Lite,July 21, 2006
By Ozzyfrom OKC, OK
"Good product! Nice buck first time out with it. A little cumbersome with the "parts" getting back into the cavity of the decoy. Overall it's just what I was looking for, the deer are naturally drawn to other deer, and they are not focused on YOU. I used it while bow hunting on the ground, and he never saw it comming."

Carry-Lite deer decoy,July 11, 2006
By cowcudd
"I have used the decoy for only one year. During use the eyes fell off I had to reglue them. the chest cavity/storage could have been made larger for ease of storing the legs and head. The overall performance is fine but the quality could be upgraded. With the down falls it is still the best decoy I own."
