Advantages: Comfortable, Fit/Size, Lightweight, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, ankle and arch support!
"I currently own these NB MW977GT's. Originally purchased because I needed a good looking, everyday support shoe for chronic Plantar Fasciitis and a fallen arch. I have loved everything about these hikers, including the fact that the plantar fasciitis hasn't returned! Comfortable, waterproof and stylish enough to wear everyday (because I do), I personally recommend these shoes for hiking, walking, biking, and for those who just need the extra support only New Balance can deliver."

"This hiking shoe is amazing. It's much like a boot and much like a running shoe. They look great with jeans, khakis and shorts. I've hiked many miles in total comfort (and they stay dry). I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly. The first time I tried running in them I was amazed that they almost instantly transformed from hiking boot to trail running shoe. I'm getting another pair!"

"Got these shoes at the Bass Pro Shop in Nashville and really like them.They are worth the extra cash over normal New Ballance shoes.If you stay outside a lot then get a pair.You won't be sorry."
