"I purchased this rangefinder last year and have loved it ever since. You get two rangefinders in one and then some.
I used it during archery season on deer and turkey. During muzzel loader season for deer.
I even used it with my .270 for coyotes. Then again for spring turkey. It is good to know your distances way out there or right under the stand. I would reccomend this to anyone it is very easy to use.

Great Product, January 13, 2009
By Waterdrinker from Brandywine, Md

"I got one of these for Christmas and I am glad I did. It has a bunch of different rifle modes for the gun and bullet you shoot. It comes with a CD that gives you the best mode for the bullet brand you shoot. There is also a mode for bow and 2 modes for muzzleloader. There is a mode if you want to range small game and a mode to ignore the small limbs and briers. It ranges very consistently and you can rely on getting the right range. The angle compensation is awesome and it helps too. If there is one thing I would change about it, it would be to have a switch or a botton to illuminate the numbers so when you are ranging in the last minutes of shooting hours."

Great Product, October 1, 2008
By FLHunter21 from Florida

"I have always wanted a rangefinder and i recently just purchased it. I have just put it to use yesterday and it was great! I now know what my limit is and no guessing. The Arc is an awesome feature. I seen 2 does and they were just outside my comfort zone. Usually i would have shot, but i would usually guess wrong and miss, but not anymore. Also seen a nice tom, but again a little to far. overall this is a good product. It may be a little expensive but shop around and find deals. I got the rangefinder, a pair of H2O binos from bushnell,a knife, and dvd all for 300. So i Coulnd't pass that up. My hunting buddy loved it as well. He is gonna be getting his soon"

no good, December 11, 2007
By borooster

"I have purchased or have been give replacements 3 times for this unit. 3 out of 3 did not work for various reasons. These units were rushed to the marketplace by Bushnell w/o any quality control. Save your money... maybe Nikon will release one in Feb. If you've purchased one that works, then consider yourself lucky. I spoke with Bushnell about this unit, and not one of the people I spoke with have ever seen one! They are supposed to be testing the next unit before they ship it, If it doesn't work I will get my money back. BEWARE!"

Bow hunting, November 16, 2007
By schqweezlt from Dorchester, Md

"I have always had difficulty with shots in a treestand over 12 ft High. I found that the primary cause wan't my estimates of yardage but the fact that due to tragectory I was aiming higher that I " PREFERRED"
I have used this rangefinder this year during bow season and have found the correction given by the rangefinder puts my impact right on target minus the variation of adrenaline and human error I would highly recommend this valuable piece of equipment to any bowhunter it is definately an asset in the clean harvesting of game in the field THanks! Bushnell and Bass pro for this product

Deer and Elk hunting in Colorado, November 6, 2007
By born2hunt from Colorado

"This Bushnell is perfect. I have used it for archery and rifle, on deer and elk. I haven't had any problems with low light. I have used it on spot and stock hunts and ambush hunts. I ended up using it a lot more than my binoculars. The optics are great. I had to get this, after archery hunting with my brother last year and missing a 7 by 7 elk due to a shot down a steep hill. The ARC system works great with the bow. I highly recommend the Bushnell 1000 ARC, it is light, easy to use, great optics, and helpful for any kind of hunting."

upgrade to the legend, October 16, 2007
By mtsrunner from NC

"I bought this because I wanted something smaller than my Bushnell 800 yardage pro. It is small and very ergonomic, but it has a real problem with fog, dark and it is VERY hard to read the yardage in low light. I actually got busted by a deer after because the readout is not bold enough. I ranged her and then had to hold the rangefinder up to the sky to get the read-out....she saw the movement and the gig was up. I am returning this model for the Legend, which is waterproof and has a $50 rebate right now."
